Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf on Monday swore in seven Commissioners, 12 Special Advisers and six Permanent Secretaries.
The Commissioners include Shehu Wada Sagagi, a former Chief of Staff, appointed Commissioner Investment, Commerce and Industry; Dr. Dahiru Hashim, Environment, Dr. Isma’il Danmaraya, Finance; Dr. Gaddafi Shehu, Power and Sustainable Energy; Abdulkadri Abdussalam, Rural Development; Abdullahi Waiya, Information and Dr. Nura Iro Ma’aji, Public Procurement.
Report says that the swearing-in was conducted by the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Haruna Isa Dederi, who led the official inauguration of the appointees.

The governor said his government will in the coming months intensify efforts in key areas, such as human development, road construction, health, agriculture and education.
“These areas would see a heavy presence of government,” he said.
Yusuf urged the new appointees to be guided by the fear of God, believing that making Kano great is their call to duty.
