The Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, inaugurated a committee responsible for screening potential service providers for accommodation and catering during the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, which took place at the Commission in Abuja on December 2, 2024.
Meanwhile, the committee, which is made up of experienced professionals and experts, will be responsible for thoroughly evaluating and selecting the most qualified service providers.
These providers will be charged with ensuring that Nigerian pilgrims are offered the highest quality of accommodation and catering services during their stay in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, the process of screening accommodation and catering service providers includes not only assessing the amenities and services these companies provide but also making sure they meet the requirements established by NAHCON and Saudi authorities.
In his remarks during the inauguration, Prof. Usman emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards when selecting service providers. He noted that NAHCON’s primary focus is on the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of Nigerian pilgrims, stressing that every detail, from the accommodation to the catering, plays a significant role.
