The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Dr. Peter Mbah as the duly elected governor of Enugu State.
The apex court in a Friday ruling, dismissed the Appeal by the candidate of the Labour Party, Barr. Chijoke Edeoga seeking to nullify Mbah’s election.
The apex court resolved all the issues in favour of the first respondent (Governor Peter Mbah).

Recall that both the Election Tribunal and Appeal Court upheld the declaration of Mbah as the winner of the March 18th Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
