Arrangements have reached the advanced stage for a colorful and successful conduct of the Annual General Meeting of Kano Science Schools Old Students Association (KASSOSA), the umbrella of the Old Students that have been graduating students from the famous Government Science Colleges in Kano and Jigawa state since 1980.
The event which is scheduled to take place on Monday the 25th day of December 2023 at the Sani Zahraddeen Theatre Bayero University Old Site by 9:00 am, will feature a series of activities which includes swearing of new exco as well as the dissolution of old exco.
This was contained in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Halliru Sani.

Halliru Sani added that associations like KASSOSA use the period to set agendas for their members, developmental plans backing their operation, and success achieved so far.
“All Class Chapters from various Science Colleges and Schools will gather at the venue to witness this year’s AGM.
“As one of the largest Old Students Associations in the country, whose contributions to the development of humanity torches every angle, there’s a need to sit down and see how we can build on the previous effort,” National Publicity Secretary of KASSOSA.
Recall that the then Kano State Government enacted a law in 1977 and the same law was amended in 1978, to establish the Science Secondary Schools Management Board, under which the Science College Dawakin Kudu and Science College Dawakin Tofa were first created.
The aim was to produce Medical Doctors, Engineers, Technicians, Scientists, Teachers, and other professionals in different places of expertise that will sufficiently serve the state and beyond.
