Pharmacist Ghali Sule was born on the 4th of July 1966 in Rangaza Area of Kano State.
Gali Sule attended Rangaza Primary for his first school leaving certificate in 1979, Government Secondary School Karaye for Junior Education in 1981, and Science College Dawakin Kudu for Senior School Certificate in 1984.
Gali moved to the School for Basic Studies, after which he was admitted to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria to study Pharmacy and finished in 1990.

Sule after some basic training and National Youth Service, enlisted in the Kano State Civil Service and was posted to the Hospital Management Board, Ministry of Health.
Pharmacist Gali rose through the ranks to become the Director of Pharmaceuticals of the Kano State Ministry of Health.
After 31 meritorious years of service, Pharmacist Gali Sule resigned from his work voluntarily to join the state gubernatorial race under the platform of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), to improve the welfare of the people and boost the economic development of the state.
From PRP, he decamped to New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), to assist the flag bearer of the party in Kano, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
NNPP being the party that won the governorship election of Kano, Pharmacist Gali Sule was appointed by Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf as Director General Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA) in order to improve the standard of its responsibilities.
Being professional in the field, Pharmacist Gali Sule identified the problems that bedevil the agency with an aim to correct the abnormalities.
In an interview with a reporter Umar Idris Shuaibu recently, Gali Sule said that his leadership is able to provide a standard of supplied medicines to the number of hospitals under the Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency.
“We settled an outstanding debt of over one billion and engaged more than 89 medical supply companies of which 51 that passed all the necessary criteria have started supplying.
“We have also established a Quality Control Laboratory which will be open for operation in December 2024, before we used to patronize the same facility from Sokoto which is a little bit far from Kano. And our medical store will be developed that will serve as a back-up in a situation of emergency and considering the number of Kano state population,” Gali Sule stated.
People can testify to the success stories recorded by the former Chief Pharmaceutical Officer of Kano from his inception into the office of Director General to date, which is as a result of synergy between the agency and other stakeholders for quality service.
Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA) was established on 23rd June 2009, to procure, store, and distribute Medicines, Medical and Laboratory Supplies, and other medical consumables in Kano State.
