Famed singer Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, widely known as Bella Shmurda, has called on the Nigeria Police Force to promptly release the body of his late friend and fellow artist, MohBad.
MohBad’s corpse was exhumed for autopsy in September, a move prompted by the controversial circumstances surrounding his death. Since then, the police have maintained silence on the case.

In a post via X on Saturday, November 18, Bella Shmurda expressed concern that the delay in obtaining the autopsy results from the Police is impeding the arrangements for a dignified burial for the late singer.
He wrote: “It’s been over 2 months since moh died and his body was taken in for autopsy but no result, which is fine please release his body, that boy needs a befitting burial and to go rest finally, naija police what’s going on, we need answer here, where is the result? Where is the body?”
