It was a rowdy sight at Oshodi-Gbagada expressway as hundreds of motorists and commuters hundreds found themselves trapped for hours in the gridlock, on Monday morning.
The gridlock followed an accident that occurred, with two yet-to-be-identified persons feared dead.
The gridlock intensified as onlookers obstructed both routes of the expressway, leading to a complete standstill in vehicular movement.

The situation worsened as the influx of vehicles attempting to navigate their way through the lanes toward the expressway caused a significant backlog of traffic, leaving many motorists stranded.
