In a recent development, the Yaba Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State granted bail to singer Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry.
They were both granted bail in the sum of N20 million with three responsible sureties.
Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others were arraigned and remanded on October 6 due to their alleged involvement in the circumstances surrounding the death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
As part of the bail conditions, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun presided ruled that the the defendants are required to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department,” Olatunbosun ruled.
She also warned that no one should contact her directly on the case.
“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” she added
