The Department of State Security (DSS) has arrested a woman, who allegedly threatened to commit suicide and kill those responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kano State, Nasiru Gawuna, at the Election Petitions Tribunal.
Recall that the Kano State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal ordered the withdrawal of certificate of return issued to Governor Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and directed that the certificate be issued to the APC governorship candidate in the March 18 election, Dr. Nasir Gawuna, as the rightful winner of the poll.
According to a report published by an online newspaper, Newspoint Nigeria, on Tuesday, the 23-year-old woman, Fiddausi Ahmadu, in a viral video clip circulated in Kano, attacked the Tribunal chairman, warning that anywhere she sees the Judge, she (Fiddausi) won’t mind holding her with a bomb to commit suicide

She claimed to be fighting for the cause of NNPP and Governor Yusuf.
Speaking in Hausa, the lady also warned Gawuna, saying, “You dare not indicate your location, otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with a bomb vest to commit suicide.”
Speaking further, she attacked Vice President Kashim Shettima, calling him names and blaming him for being behind the legal predicament of the NNPP in Kano State.
“We are indeed taking Fiddausi Musa Ahmadu to court because these threats should not be taken lightly,” a source told the online newspaper.
