President Tinubu to Address G-20 Summit on Global Unity Today

The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, is scheduled to deliver an address at the G-20 summit at 10:30 am Nigerian Time.

The event is taking place at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition and Convention Centre in New Delhi.

Tinubu will be focusing on the topic of global unity during his presentation, which is part of the ‘One Earth-One Family-One Future’ session at the summit.

President Tinubu had earlier been welcomed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the venue of the G-20 Summit where he will be delivering his speech.

Earlier, GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reported that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi announced today that the African Union will become a permanent member of the Group of 20 (G20).

Modi in his opening speech, Modi invited the chair of the African Union, Azali Assoumani, to take his seat as a permanent member of the grouping as other leaders applauded and looked on.

The African Union is a continental body consisting of the 55 member states that make up the countries of the African continent.
