A delegation of Islamic scholars under the leadership of the national chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) has arrived in Niger Republic to play a mediating role in the ongoing deadlock between the Niger military junta and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Among the revered clerics present are Sheikh Bala Lau, Sheikh Kabir Gombe, Sheikh Yakubu Musa, and Sheikh Mansur Sokoto, alongside others. The scholars’ presence marks a significant effort to contribute to resolving the political crisis, aiming to provide insights and guidance in the current impasse.
