Cage Fight With Zuckerberg to Be Live-Streamed on Social Media Platform X – Elon Musk

In a recent social media post, Elon Musk announced that his much-discussed cage fight proposition with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg would be broadcasted live on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter.

The two tech titans have been playfully challenging each other to a mixed martial arts (MMA) cage match in Las Vegas since June, according to Reuters.

Musk revealed on X early Sunday morning, “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans.”

He didn’t elaborate further on the details of the event.

In a separate X post, Musk shared that he was “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight,” humorously adding that he brought weights to his workplace since he didn’t have time to hit the gym.

When asked about the purpose of the fight, Musk responded, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, did not provide a response to a Reuters inquiry regarding Musk’s announcement.

The cage fight discussion originated on June 20 when Musk declared his willingness for a cage match against the 39-year-old Zuckerberg, who is trained in jiujitsu.

The following day, Zuckerberg asked Musk to “send location” for the proposed showdown. Musk playfully replied with “Vegas Octagon,” referencing a venue often used for MMA championship matches.

In response to the progressing challenge, Musk humorously stated that he would commence training if the cage fight indeed materialized.
