Atiku, Shettima meet at Abuja Event (PHOTOS)

Vice-President Kashim Shettima and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar shared a cordial meeting at a wedding ceremony in Abuja on Saturday.

The event brought the two political figures together, despite their contrasting party affiliations and ongoing political challenges.

Atiku, who was the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the previous election, is presently contesting the victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in which Shettima served as a running mate alongside President Bola Tinubu.

However, the wedding ceremony between Mohammed (Ameer) Bunu and Ikramullah Jamal Arabi served as a platform for the two men to put their political differences aside and exchange pleasantries.

In a display of camaraderie, Shettima and Atiku demonstrated that personal relationships can transcend political divisions.

The wedding, held at the Al-Nur Mosque in the nation’s capital, saw the attendance of notable personalities such as Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd), the former National Security Adviser, and Professor Ali Isa Pantami, the immediate Past Minister of Communication and Digital Economy.
