The Senator representing Kano South District, Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, OFR, PhD, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Ahmad Dan Zango, a prominent politician.
In a heartfelt statement, Senator Kawu Sumaila described Alhaji Dan Zango as a dedicated leader whose contributions to the political landscape of Kano and Nigeria will be fondly remembered. He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased.

“The death of Alhaji Ahmad Dan Zango is a great loss, not only to his family but to the entire people of Kano State. He was a man of integrity, wisdom, and commitment to the progress of our people. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus,” he stated.
The senator also urged the people of Kano to honor Dan Zango’s legacy by upholding the values of unity, service, and dedication that he embodied.
