President Bola Tinubu has officially launched the presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms.

The inauguration took place at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday.

Heading the committee is Taiwo Oyedele, a recognized Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. This diverse team of experts, drawn from both private and public sectors, is poised to drive substantial changes in tax regulations and fiscal policy strategies.

The establishment of this committee was initially announced by Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, in a statement released on July 7.

GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reports that the committee’s scope of work covers a wide array of responsibilities, encompassing tax law reforms, the design and coordination of fiscal policies, the alignment of tax structures, and enhancements in revenue administration.
