El’s Empowerment Foundation is set to host the Kano Cultural Carnival, a two-day event aimed at fostering awareness of the unity and harmonious relationships among the diverse tribes residing in Kano.

President El’s Empowerment Foundation disclosed this during an interview with Good Evening Nigeria, an online newspaper. She highlighted Kano’s unique position as the commercial hub of Northern Nigeria, where people of various ethnicities, religions, and beliefs coexist peacefully.
“Kano, being a melting pot of cultures and the commercial heartbeat of Northern Nigeria, has become a home to many tribal groups who have lived together in harmony. This hospitality has significantly contributed to the growth of businesses across the region,” Yusuf said.

She further explained that the carnival aims to celebrate the people of Kano and their remarkable hospitality. “This is an accolade for the Kano people. It is also an opportunity to showcase the traditions and way of life of those originally from other regions. We want to show the world that diversity is not a taboo but a beautiful way of life,” Ogechi added.
The Kano Cultural Carnival, scheduled for February 15th and 16th, will feature activities such as tribal dances, drama performances, horse riding, lalle (henna art), and more. The event will also welcome notable personalities from the entertainment industry.
