Kano State Government has saluted the effort of Els Foundation for their track records of helping humanity in the State.
The Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Eradication of the state, Hajiya Aisha Lawan stated this shortly receiving an award of recognition from the Foundation.
Hajiya Aisha Lawan said the Ministry that is just established by the administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf would focus on addressing the lingering issues facing the people.
She said the Ministry will continue to partner with Foundation like Els in order to lessen the burden on the Government.
Speaking earlier, the representative of the Foundation, Mrs Mary’Ann Musa said they were in the office of the Commissioner to discuss further on the ways they can actually help them deliver on their mandate.

She said this is necessary looking at the human resources, and the need to empower youth so as to alleviate their sufferings.
“Els Foundation is working hard to empowering women and youth, and to reach out to drug additives”, Mrs Mary’Ann Musa.
The Foundation promises to launch humanitarian support to Kano people in order the complement the effort of the Humanitarian Ministry in poverty eradication.
