A student from the Audu Bako College of Agriculture in Dambatta, Kano State, died in a sad boat accident at the famed Thomas Dambatta Dam on Tuesday morning.

The president of the College Students Union, Comrade Jabir Karaye, informed our correspondent that the incident involved two students, and late evening, the body of one of them was recovered.

He added that the search operation has been suspended for the day and will resume on Wednesday morning with the hope of locating the second missing student.
