Kano: New Permanent Secretary Pension Assumes office 

The newly appointed Permanent Secretary of Kano state Pension Fund Trustees, Hajiya Kubura Ahmad Bichi, assumed duty today, and called for team work from the staff of Kano State Pension Fund Trustees.

Hajiya Kubra restated her stance on working diligently with fear of Allah to justify the confidence reposed in her by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the success of his administration.

Hajiya Kubura made this known shortly after assuming duty at the

Pension Fund Trustees in a light ceremony.

She commended the present administration for initiating good policies that would boost the morale and well-being of all pensioners in the state for the

payment of gratuities, death benefits of the sum of six billion Naira to some categories of retirees from 2016 to 2020, to both the local and state governments respectively, which is indeed a heart-warming gesture made by Kano State government.

Speaking earlier, the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Nuhu Yahaya Danbatta, enjoined staff of the state Pension Fund Trustees to extend similar cooperation to his successor for the overall development of the pensioners and the state at large.

On his part, the Executive Chairman of Kano State Pension Fund Trustees, Alhaji Habu Muhammad Fagge, thanked the outgoing Permanent Secretary Alhaji Nuhu Yahaya Danbatta for his dedication to the development of the pension office during his tenure, and assured the new Permanent Secretary of his full support and the entire staff to enable her succeed.

Those who spoke during the occasion were, Permanent Member one Alhaji Hassan Aminu and Director Yusuf Halliru among others.
