Reports indicate that an additional four persons are currently in critical condition and receiving treatment at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH).
The unfortunate event took place within the Obiri-Ikwerre area of the Rumuosi Community, situated in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of RiversState.
Sources reveal that a team consisting of nine men was engaged in erecting the billboard structure, utilizing a metal frame that inadvertently came into contact with a high-tension cable, resulting in the deadly electric shock.
These victims were identified as private businessmen who had been contracted to carry out the billboard installation on behalf of a church.
