Popular singer Davido has unveiled a fresh official video for DMW’s latest recruit, Logos Olori’s debut single titled “Jaye Lo.”
Recall that last month, Davido faced criticism upon the initial release of the “Jaye Lo” visuals on social media.
The scenes in the video sparked backlash, particularly from Muslims and northern communities, who found certain segments offensive.
In the original video, people were depicted praying in congregation before transitioning into dancing to the song’s beat.
Despite removing the video from circulation, demands for a public apology from Davido persisted, particularly from some Muslims who expressed their disapproval.
GOOD EVENING NIGERIA recalls that protests reached the streets, with youths from Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, burning a large banner featuring the singer’s image to express their frustration.

While the singer remained silent amid the public criticism on social media, he has now returned with a new music video for “Jaye Lo.”
The new video features Logos Olori showcasing his dance moves and physique surrounded by vixens.

Notably, the controversial scenes from the initial release have been removed in this version, a move made by Davido’s DMW team.
Described as “neat visuals” with a “pleasing style,” this new rendition of “Jaye Lo” seeks to make amends for the previous controversy.
