Senate continues screening of ministerial nominees today

Today, the Senate is set to conduct the screening of the remaining 14 ministerial nominees out of the 28 nominees unveiled by Senate President, GodsWill Akpabio, last week Thursday.

The initial screening saw 14 nominees appearing before the Senate for the screening process.

Amongst those to be screened are former Ebonyi governor and lawmaker representing Ebonyi South, David Umahi (Ebonyi); Former Kaduna governor, Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna); the Special Adviser to the President, Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, Dele Alake (Ekiti); and former Minister of Health, Ali Pate.
