Tobi Amusan, the world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, displayed her exceptional talent on Sunday as she emerged victorious at the 2023 Silesia Diamond League.
The Nigerian star demonstrated her prowess and determination, delivering a strong finish in the women’s 100m hurdles event held in Chorzow, Poland.
Amusan, whose world record stands at an impressive 12.12 seconds, crossed the finish line in 12.34 seconds, securing both the win and an equaling of the meeting record.
Expressing her joy and gratitude, the reigning Commonwealth gold medalist took to Facebook to share her thoughts. “One race at a time, my coach has always told me that, and I’m happy to have finished here with another season’s best and the meeting record,” Amusan wrote.
