The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comr. Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has felicitated with Muslim Ummah in Kano State and across the nation on the year’s occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.
Gwarzo, in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, said the occasion not only marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but is also a moment of reflection, unity, and spiritual renewal.
The Deputy Governor said the event serves as a reminder on the teachings of Islam, emphasizing peace, compassion, and the pursuit of righteousness.
He also commended the Muslims for their commitment to the teachings of Islam, which continue to inspire harmony and goodwill within our society.
He underscores the importance of upholding the values of empathy, tolerance, and respect for one another, as exemplified by the Prophet’s life.

“As we celebrate this significant day, I am calling on all residents of Kano State to use this occasion to strengthen the bonds of unity, friendship, and solidarity within our diverse community” Gwarzo urged.
He also urged the Muslim Ummah to offer prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Kano state and the nation as a whole.
The Deputy Governor further expressed his commitment to working ‘tirelessly’ alongside Governor of the State, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf and the entire government to improve the living standards of the people of Kano State.
