The Federal Government is close to reaching an agreement on a new national minimum wage as President Bola Tinubu has invited the organized labour, including the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), to a meeting at Aso Villa on Thursday.

According to the source, President Tinubu aims to resolve the ongoing discussions about the minimum wage and has invited the presidents of the joint unions for this crucial meeting.
