The accreditation visits of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology (FCAPT), Kano in May 2024 has yielded fruitful result with the accreditation of two Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes to sustain and consolidate the high academic standard of the College.
This was contained in a notification letter signed by the Director Monotechnic Programmes Department Sama’ila Tanko, and sent to the College.
According to the letter, the National Board for Technical Education granted full accreditation of five years to Higher National Diploma Crop Production Technology and Higher National Diploma Food Technology.

Reacting to the recent achievement, the Provost Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology (FCAPT), Dr. Muhammad Yusha’u Gwaram commended the support of the NBTE team for their support during the exercise, as well the Management staff of the College for their dedication and commitment towards the success of the accreditation exercise.
Gwaram added that, with the new accreditation status of additional two courses of Higher National Diploma, the College would maintain its mandate and glory of training students and other Agriculturalists in middle-level manpower in agriculture, post-harvest technology and agricultural produce inspection.
