Aliko Dangote University of Science
and Technology (ADUSTECH) Wudil, has secured National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation for 20 courses following an exercise conducted by the body recently.
The Vice-Chancellor of ADUSTECH, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, made this announcement in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, in Kano.
Musa Tukur said that the result showed that 20 out of the 24 courses assessed secured full accreditation, with only four course, ‘Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Building Technology and Estate Management’ getting interim accreditation.

“This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to providing high-quality education and maintaining academic excellence.
“Programmes with full accreditation have met and exceeded the NUC’s stringent standards, ensuring robust academic curricula, competent faculty, adequate facilities, and significant research outputs. The interim accreditation status of the four programs indicates areas that
require improvement, which we are committed to addressing these areas promptly to achieve full accreditation shortly.”
Professor Yakasai listed the accredited courses to include:

3) Forestry and Wildlife Management
4) Architecture
5) Information and Communication Technology
6) Automobile Technology Education
7) Building Technology Education
8) Computer Science Education
9) Education Mathematics
10) Electrical Electronics Education
11) Integrated Science
12) Metalwork Technology Education
13) Woodwork Technology Education
14) Automotive Engineering
15) Water Resources and Environmental Engineering
16) Quantity Survey
17) Biochemistry
18) Science Laboratory Technology
19) Geography
20) Meteorology
Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai then appreciated the Kano State Government, members of the Governing Council and all stakeholders in the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil, Tetfund, for their constant support.
