I, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Kano State and former APC Gubernatorial Candidate hereby felicitates with the muslim faithfuls in Kano State and Nigeria in general on this auspicious occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr.
I wish to also congratulate the muslim ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting and enjoin you to dedicate yourselves to the lessons of the period of kindness, justice, love, tolerance, piety and peaceful-coexistence which the Holy Month taught and our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) exemplified.
We should use the occasion to continue to pray for wisdom and guidance from Allah for our leaders and for security and stability for Nigeria.

I wish to remind us the end of Ramadan is not the end of prayers and supplications, therefore we should ensure sustenance of the virtues of the Holy Month beyond celebration.
