The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, affirmed this commitment today while receiving a report from the Committee on Hajj Induction Courses in his office.
Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u emphasized the Board’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of pilgrims, stating that they have selected Islamic scholars to review the syllabus of Hajj Induction Courses for the benefit of pilgrims in the state.
He noted that since 2014, no updates have been made to the course syllabus, despite the evolving knowledge gained during the Hajj pilgrimage.
He pledged to implement necessary changes to educate pilgrims with an updated syllabus before their travels to Saudi Arabia.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, commended the Committee members for their tireless efforts to make syllabus review possible.

In his remarks, Sheikh Tijjani Sani Maihula, the Chairman of the Hajj Induction Course Teachers and a Board Member, highlighted the committee’s thorough efforts to gather essential knowledge on Ibadat (worship) to compile a comprehensive report for the benefit of pilgrims.
Sheikh Maihula encouraged pilgrims in the state to utilize the new syllabus, emphasizing its potential to aid them in their pilgrimage.
