In an intensified effort to train and retrain it workforce for the enhancement of service performance and productivity, Kano State Government will within shortest possible time complete the Imam Wali Training Center.
The Deputy Governor and Commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy affairs, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo stated this when he paid impromptu visit to the center for an on the spot assessment of construction of the center located at Sharada Filin Waya.
Comrade Aminu Abdussalam frowned at the abondonment of the construction of the center in view of its immense importance in providing conducive and training environment to local governments personnel across the State.

He added that when completed, the center would serve many purposes in government businesses and the need of having bigger and spacious places for hosting occasions and different ilks and purposes.
The Deputy Governor appreciated the contractor (Malamijo & Sons Limited)for mobilizing to site quickly as he was optimistic that the present administration will respect the provision s of the contract including settlement of the contract financial commitments.
He directed the contractor to liase with the planning department of the ministry to review the building plan of the center for a befitting edifice that will confirm with modernity, standard and serve the purpose of its building.
Earlier, briefing the Deputy Governor, the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Kabara said that the contract was awarded in 2018 at the sum of 354 million naira but only 50 million was paid as mobilization a development that halted the continuation and abandonment of the project.
He assured that as the State government was committed in completing the project and put it into use, the ministry will not relent in supervising and monitoring the project to ensure quality services delivery and timely completion.
