The Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has lost property worth hundreds of million naira in her Abuja residence.
The unfortunate incidence occured when the said residence went in flame on Sunday afternoon, leaving no valuables unturned.
The affected property located at No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, Asokoro finding said was razed to ground zero before the fire fighters reportedly respond.

No official statement has been issued on the incident by the Media aide to the Minister, Mr. Austine Elemue.
Similarly, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, a former Commissioner for higher education in Kano did not respond to calls and text messages put across to her.
