Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has renewed hope for improved welfare and profound service delivery for intending pilgrims of 2024 Hajj.
Director General of the board, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, gave the commitment on Saturday shortly after he returned from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Alh. Danbappa who disclosed a fruitful engagement during the pre-hajj conference attended on behalf of the state, noted that all is set for improved welfare package for Kano pilgrims this year’s hajj.
Addressing the residents of Galadanci Ward, Gwale Local Government, and the Hajj Centre officers from the 44 Local Governments, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u outlined his priorities during the trip.
According to him, there is focus on improving accommodation, feeding, and transportation for state pilgrims different from previous experience.
Alhaji Danbappa who was away in the holy land when the Supreme Court affirmed the mandate of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf took time to congratulate the Governor.
He therefore called on management staff of the Board to provide necessary cooperation to achieve the set goals.
In a statement by spokesperson of the board, Suleiman Dederi, the DG promised to work in tandem with all staff to attain the objectives.
