Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has given the green light for the disbursement of N10,000 allowance to civil servants and N5,000 allowance to pensioners in the state.
This is to alleviate the effects of subsidy removal.
The announcement was made public today by the state’s Head of Service, Alhaji Usman Isyaku, emphasizing the Governor’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of the workforce.

The allowance will come into effect from January, marking a proactive step to fulfiling the Governor’s commitment to gradually introduce measures to ease the impact of subsidy removal.
This initiative reflects the Governor’s ongoing efforts to prioritize the welfare of the state’s employees and retirees, embodying a pledge to implement thoughtful measures that prioritize their financial resilience.
