Alhaji Bashir Ibrahim Al-Mustapha Gwammaja, CON, celebrated his close ally, former president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, on his 81st birthday today, December 2023.
In a statement made available to Journalists in Kano, Alh. Bashir commended Buhari for his commitment to nation-building and his many years of devoted national service.
Honoring the former President, Alhaji Bashir emphasized that his legacy would live on in history for all time and referred to him as a beacon of hope.
According to him, Buhari joined the military immediately after completing secondary school and began serving the country at an early age. He referred to him as “a leader of remarkable fervor, a patriot, and selfless.”
He added that Buhari, who is 81 years old, has a lengthy military career, and he should be proud of his impeccable record of service to the country as a soldier, platoon commander, general commanding officer, military governor, minister of petroleum, former Head of state, chairperson of the petroleum trust fund, and later two terms as President elected through democratic means.
“I join Buhari’s family, friends, and well-wishers in wishing him a happy birthday and many joyous returns of the day in good health,” Bashir Gwammaja stated.
