The Permanent Secretary recently posted to the Kano State Ministry of Water Resources, Abdulmumini Musa Aliyu has today assumed duty.
The Commissioner of Water Resources Ali Haruna Makoda while receiving the new Permanent Secretary remarked that the Governor of Kano State Abba Kabir Yusuf has unwavering confidence in the ability of the Ministry to deliver on the mandate of providing potable water in the state.

The Commissioner expressed confidence that the new Permanent Secretary will implore his wealth of experience garnered within the Public Service and his experience while serving the good people of the state towards the realization of the constitutional mandate of the Ministry.
Makoda urged the Management Staff of the Ministry to extend cooperation to the new Permanent Secretary for the overall success of the Ministry and its Agencies.
In his remark, the new Permanent Secretary, Abdulmumini Musa Aliyu said that his mandate in the Ministry will be delivered with professionalism and proficiency.
“I promised an unalloyed loyalty to the Commissioner of Water Resources as well as guiding and counseling to our staff that will give us a chance to work as a team.
“We must work hard as Kano people expect results from the administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf to end recurring water challenges,” Abdulmumini Musa Aliyu stated.
The New Permanent Secretary received the Hand over Notes from the outgoing Permanent Secretary Tijjani Bello Dawakin Tofa, who oversaw the office of the Permanent Secretary before the recent appointment of Abdulmumini Musa Aliyu.
