The State House of Assembly Member representing Tarauni Local Government, Kabiru Dahiru Sule, has empowered no fewer than 1000 people in Tarauni.
He distributed motorcycles, raw food, mats to mosques, and teaching aids to primary schools.
Speaking at the programme, in Tarauni Masallaci, Kabiru Dahiru Sule said the scheme was aimed at empowering the people and reducing the level of suffering in the community.

According to him, the idea was initiated by looking at the hardships that people are experiencing, to support them in various aspects of human endeavors.
He said this was aimed at propagating the administration of Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The NNPP lawmaker added that Governor Yusuf had undoubtedly executed several developmental projects that surpassed many northern Governors from his inception into office, noting that this gesture was to further sell the Government in the eyes of the world.
“Your Excellency, this is not new to you because you have immeasurable empowerment programmes in your records, that is why we, as your disciples, decided to emulate you by this kind of gesture.
“You can see that, despite the economic turmoil, this administration continues to execute projects everywhere in Kano.
“And it is necessary for us to emulate the good teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), that encourage the aspect of giving and helping those in need”.
Kabiru Dahiru Sule, therefore, tasked the beneficiaries to use what they were given judiciously, and urged them to transfer their needs and aspirations that will develop the constituency.
In his remarks, Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo commended the initiative, noting that the administration will continue to come up with policies targeted at improving the living standard of Kano people.
According to him, the current administration comes with various policies in sectors of human lives that will surely transform people’s standards.
He then called on people to continue praying for the peaceful coexistence and peace of the state.
