The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has concluded plan to establish progressives institute.
The National Chairman of APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje stated this on Thursday, in Abuja at the public presentation of a book, titled ‘’An Introduction to Strategic Communication” written by Dr. Sule Ya’u Sule, a lecturer with Bayero University Kano.
Dr. Ganduje represented by his Chief of Staff, Muhammadu Garba said the establishment of the institute is first of its kind in the country aimed at teaching and educating politicians and other stakeholders on progressive tents to strengthen democracy.

Ganduje said the proposal for the establishment of the institute has been approved by the National Working Committee of the party.

Speaking on the public presentation of the strategic communication book, the APC National Chairman, extoled the virtue of the author, Sule Ya’u Sule as a core professional journalist and highly experienced image maker.
‘’I am buying a sizeable number of this book for the progressive institute when established and I commend your contribution to the body of knowledge.
On his part, former Kano State Governor, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau said his relationship with the author who is also his media aide dates back two decades.
Shekarau who was elated at the turn of events at the book presentation lauded wisdom, dexterity, patience and how Sule Ya’u Sule conducts his activities said he has never regretted his relationship with him due to his uprightness.
In a remark, Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by his Director General, Malam Sanusi Bature expressed the governor’s happiness over the public presentation of the book.
Gov Yusuf said the book would in no small way improve the practice of public relations, image management, and communication studies.
The author of the book, Dr. Sule said his doctorial work supervised by Prof. Umaru Pate encouraged him to write this book as there are paucity of literature in strategic communication.
‘’Honestly, I need to thank Prof. Pate the more considering his patience, keen observations, painstaking guidance, tutorship, and above all unquantifiable humility and human relations.
