Governor Yusuf Swears-in Abdullahi Musa, as 13th HoS

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has charged the new head of Civil Service of the state, Abdullahi Musa to discharge his duties diligently and with fear of Allah.

During the swearing-in ceremony held, Friday, at the Government House, Kano, the Governor said that the appointment of the Head of service was based on merit, looking at his track records of achievements in various positions he held as a seasoned civil servant and administrator.

In a statement by the Director Public Enlightenment, Government House, Kano Aliyu Yusuf said, the new Head of Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa expressed gratitude to Almighty for making it possible for the Governor to appoint him in that position.

He said that the appointment is indeed an honour to him, stressing that with the confidence reposed in him by the governor, he will do all possible in moving the state civil service to a greater heights.

“As a 13th Head of Service of Kano State, I am not going to make promises for now but what I intend to do is to go back to the basics ” Alhaji Abdullahi Musa maintained.

While praying to Allah to give him the strength and wisdom to carry out his duties, the Head of service said that he will invive the good attitudes of the governor for ensuring goodies to the state Civil Service and the the state by extension, calling for support and cooperation of the teaming civil servants in the state.

It could be recalled that as a seasoned Civil servant and administrator, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa has served in various capacities in the state service prominent among them were, a Permanent Secretary in the State Council Affairs Directorate, Permanent Secretary at the Servicom Directorate and a Permanent Secretary Government House, Kano among others.
