Participants of course 46 Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji on a study tour to Kano State paid a working visit to the State headquarters of the NSCDC, Kano command, and had an interactive session with Staff.
DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO, Kano command in a statement said the team, on arrival, was warmly received by the state Commandant, Comdt Mohammed Lawal Falala, fcna, and the management team at the command.
In his speech during the visit, Commandant Mohammed Falala spoke at length, elaborating on the core mandates of the Corps as well as the remarkable achievements of the command.
“Our primary objective is to safeguard critical national assets and infrastructure such as oil pipelines, power stations, water infrastructure and telecommunication installations. We’re also entrusted with the task of maintaining Peace and order, registration/licensing of private guard companies, etc”.

Comdt Falala further maintained that the Corps over the years has been consistently exhibiting exemplary professionalism and courage in the discharge of its assigned responsibilities.
He, however, urged the participants to remain steadfast in transforming their theoretical knowledge into practical skills. He also appealed to them to let the training instill in them a deep sense of duty, honor, and dedication to protect our beloved nation.
Earlier in his remarks, the team leader, Group Captain A K Muhammad appreciated the NSCDC with the warm reception accorded them and humbly conveyed special regards to the State Commandant.
The team leader, however, revealed that part of the curriculum requirements at the college is a study tour. According to him, the tour affords the students a veritable opportunity to know more about the socio-cultural as well as political setting of the visiting environment.
“Considering your importance and relevance to national security, we deem it appropriate to visit and have an interactive session with you, with a view to enriching the knowledge of the students with particular emphasis on the security situation of the state “.The Group Captain said.
The participants, Senior Course 46 Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, 35 in number cut across three services of the Military Command, namely: Army, Navy, and the Air Force.
