Kano State Government has called on the residents to pray for the incumbent governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, ahead of the Appeal Court judgement.
Governor Yusuf made the call on Monday, during the launch of a food distribution program for 4,400 individuals with disabilities.
Represented by his Deputy, Abdulsalam Gwarzo, Governor Yusuf said he approached court to reclaim the votes people of Kano entrusted with the administration.

According to him, “We decided to approach the court of Appeal to reclaim all the votes, people of Kano cast for us, but which the Tribunal denied us during its ruling.
It would be recalled that very soon, the Appeal court would give its ruling on the judgement, which the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) filed against the governorship election tribunal that sacked the incumbent governor, Alhaji Yusuf.
