Four relaxation parks located on Audu Bako by the Muhammad Abudullahi Wase Teaching Hospital (MAWTH) in Kano State were engulfed in flames and subsequently destroyed.
Saminu Yusif Abudullahi, the spokesman for the Kano State Fire Service, revealed that the fire’s origin was traced to an electric spark originating from a kitchen belonging to a KGC restaurant.

“We turned out our men from various fire stations, including the central fire station, to the scene of the incident to combat the fire which had affected the parks badly,” Abudullahi said.
