The Supreme Court of Nigeria has commenced thr hearing of appeal brought forward by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and Allied Peoples Movement (APM), against the election victory of President Bola Tinubu.
The main issue to be addressed in the Supreme Court session is the motion filed by the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Atiku seeks to introduce fresh evidence to support his claim that President Tinubu submitted a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reports that chieftains from the parties involved attended the hearing.

APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and other party chieftains at the Supreme Court in Abuja for the hearing on the 2023 presidential election.
The National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, are also in attendance at the Supreme Court hearing.
LP’s Julius Abure is also at the Supreme Court for the hearing.
