The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, known as Mai Dalilin Aure, has extended a unique gesture to Auwalu Salisu (22), the tricycle rider who made headlines for his remarkable act of returning N15 million to its rightful owner.
Salisu, who hails from Kano, found the substantial sum, including CFA currency, and promptly returned it to the Chadian owner.
Since his virtuous act gained widespread recognition, Salisu has received numerous gifts and accolades from government officials, organizations, and individuals.

Among the gifts he received was a new tricycle from a generous philanthropist. GOOD EVENING NIGERIA had reported that the Kano State chapter of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) rewarded Salisu, with N100,000, while members of the state House of Assembly unanimously said they will give him a portion of their salaries.
Joining the chorus of those commending Salisu’s honesty and integrity, the Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association has promised to arrange four prospective brides for Salisu to choose from, selected from a pool of ten eligible women.
Speaking on Freedom Radio, Kano, the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, said that among the ladies, two were his daughters.

He said, “The boy has shown the good character of our Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). He is indeed trustworthy. That is why we have decided to honour him with these gifts.
“There are 10 women for him to select four. Two of them are my daughters.”
