The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged victorious in all 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Edo State in the recently held local government elections, as per the results released by the State Independent Electoral Commission.
Thelocal government electiontook place on Saturday, across the entire Edo State, including the three senatorial districts of Edo North, Edo Central, and Edo South.
The major political parties that participated in the election, vying for Chairmanship and Councillorship positions in all wards, included the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP).
