The Bauchi State Civil Service Commission has sacked two employees of the Ministry of Finance for financial misappropriation and forgery.

The dismissed employees have been identified as Nasiru Sama’ila and Auwal Jibrin, holding the positions of Chief Clerical Officer and Assistant Chief Clerical Officer respectively within the Ministry.

They were alledgedly involved in forging documents linked to a deceased former colleague in the ministry which enabled them to divert a substantial sum of N330,000 that was originally designated for their late coworker.

These were contained in a media statement signed on Friday, by the Information Officer of the Civil Service Commission, Saleh Umar, which was made available to journalists in the State.

Umar said that the act contravenes section 327 of the Public Service Rules of Bauchi State.
