Kano is currently graced by the presence of Vice President Kashim Shettima, who is attending the Passing Out Parade of the Regular Course 5 cadets.
The Vice President arrived in the early hours of today to participate in the event taking place at the Police Academy Wudil in Kano.
Among the distinguished guests present at the ceremony is Aminu Abdusalam Gwarzo, the Deputy Governor of Kano State.
Earlier reports from Daily News 24 had indicated that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun is also scheduled to attend the event on Saturday, August 12th.
Preceding the event, the IGP had the honor of visiting the Emir of Kano, HRH Aminu Ado Bayero, at his palace in Kano State.
