Meanwhile, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang unveiled a Security and Information Centre aimed at streamlining the dissemination of security-related information to relevant authorities for prompt action.

The governor emphasized that the initiative, established by the Plateau State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency, aims to bridge the communication gap between the public and the government.

Governor Mutfwang explained that the centre, operational with a toll-free hotline accessible at 080 0000 5555, seeks to facilitate timely information sharing without incurring charges for citizens. He said the state government will cover all incoming call costs on behalf of the citizens.
