The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced the appointments of ten additional Special Advisers into various offices in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Spokesperson to the Governor, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Monday morning.
GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reports tha the recent selection of these 10 new Special Advisers brings the total count to 45 advisers working with the governor.
Previously, Governor Abba Yusuf had appointed 20 Special Advisers and subsequently introduced another 15, culminating in this latest addition of 10 advisers to his team.
According to the statement, the appointment was made in fulfilment of the governor’s campaign promises to place credible people in affairs of his government.
Governor Yusuf, while congratulating the appointees, urged them to commit and serve the good people of Kano state.

1. Hon. Garba Dirbunde, Special Adviser, Local Government Affairs
2. Hon. Wakili Aliyu Garko, Special Adviser, Diaspora Matters
3. Air Commodore Yusha’u Salisu Tudunwada Wada, Rtd. Special Adviser, Joint Security Services
4. Hon. Musa Ado Tsamiya, Special Adviser, Drainages
5. Gwani Musa Falaki, Special Adviser, Religious Affairs II
6. Dr. Sulaiman Wali Sani Mni, Special Adviser, Civil Service Matters
7. Prof. Auwalu Arzai, Special Adviser, Higher Education
8. Hon. Ahmad Sawaba, Special Adviser, Wildlife Conservation
9. Alh. Tajuddeen Gambo, Special Adviser, Education
10. Hon. Baba Abubakar Umar, Special Adviser Private and Voluntary Schools
