Katsina State governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has submitted a list containing 20 nominees to the Katsina State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as members of the State Executive Council.
According to a statement issued by the Director General (Media) to the governor, Maiwada Danmallam, three commissioners that served under the former governor Aminu Masari made the list.
They are Associate Professor Badamasi Charanchi, former commissioner for education; Musa Adamu Funtua, former commissioner for water resources; and Hamza Sulaiman Faskari, former commissioner for environment.
They also include Professor Ahmed Muhammad Bakori, Ishaq Shehu Dabai, Dr Nasir Muazu Danmusa, Malam Bala Salisu, Professor Ahdulhamid Ahmed, Alh Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, Aliyu Lawal Zakari, Bishir Tanimu Gambo and Fadila Muhammad Dikko.
Others are Alh. Isah Muhammad Musa and Dr Sani Magaji, Dr. Faisal Umar, Alh. Bello Husaini Kagara, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, Hajiya Hadiza Yaradua, Hajiya Zainab M Musawa and Alh. Adnan Nahabu.
Katsina State House of Assembly at a plenary presided has fixed Monday and Tuesday for the screening of the nominees.

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, has given his approval for the appointment and posting of 14 new Special Advisers and nine Heads of Agencies and Parastatals within the state’s civil service.
The statement reads, “The newly-appointed Special Advisers are Hon. Abubakar Ahmadi Tsanni, Sports & Social Development, Hon. Mannir Mu’azu Ruma, Market Development, Mallam Yusuf Ibrahim, Community Security Watch.
“Hon. Nasidi Mohammed Danladi, Community Development, Hon. Shafi’u Abdu Duwan, Party Liaison, Hon. Ya’u Ahmad, Employment Promotion and Rt. Hon. Ya’u Umar Gwajo-Gwajo, Political Affairs.
“The rest include Hon. Shehu Abdu Daura, Drugs & Narcotics, Mallam Nura Saleh Katsayal, Primary Education; Hon. Murtala Isah Kankara, National Assembly Matters;
“Hon. Engr. Mustapha Mahmud, Human Capital Development, Hon. Nasiru Lawal Aminu, Infrastructure Development, Hon. Suleiman Yusuf Jibia, Livestock and Grazing and Hon. Aminu Lawal, Youth Development.”
