Kano State Commissioner for Education, Umar Haruna Doguwa, has issued a stern warning to contractors overseeing the construction of four bilingual colleges in the state.
He emphasized the need for timely project completion to meet the November 2023 deadline.
The Commissioner expressed that this urgency was essential for the state to access additional funds for development from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).
The IsDB had recently granted a financial facility to support bilingual education in select states across Nigeria, including Kano.
